There are chemical chelating agents that can be used. These will hold the copper in suspension and prevent it from staining. Other products use clarifier type polymers to clump copper ions together so that they can be filtered out.
Trace amounts of copper in pool water is beneficial and acts as an algaecide.
Increase time your filter is cerculating your pool water. Also if the level is too high you may have to remove a percentage of you water and add new water. Have levels tested at your pool supply to make sure levels are safe.
the only way I have found is to remove a portion of the water and refill with fresh water none of the chemical that say they will reduce cooper have worked for me
go to a pool store and buy some Metal Out ( if real bad , it may take 2 bottles)
You might try putting magnets that are atached to a string and move the magnets around and soon your pool will be metal free.

More filtration. What is the filter run time? What delineates "perfect"? 3.0 Chlor, 7.5 pH, spot on alkalinity?
pump it out
Yes, only use clear clean water in your pool {;-). Seriously, why is it brown. If it is from rust, then you can purchase a clarifier at your pool store. If it is from leaf decomposition, then Chlorine will eventualy take care of it. If it is from pee, it is your call.
Install a floating pool skimmer
Your pool water may have turned green even after adding Fresh and Clear because of metals in your water. It is likely copper that is causing the water green. Your pool store will have products available to remove the metals and clear your water up. You might also have algae if you are not putting enough chlorine in the pool.
Make sure your chemicals are balanced and add a clarifier available at your pool supply dealer.
Hair bleaches in the pool not because of the chlorine, but because of the metals and copper in the water. If the pool has a high concentration of metals and copper, then yes, it will appear or turn a faint green.
Many recommend a detox to rid the body of heavy metals. Many detoxes are suggested, but a popular one includes drinking a large amount of lemon water.
Keep clohrine levels at constant
Put a tarp roughly as big as your pool on it overnight if it is near a garden with good hiding places for small things.
Pump it into the sewer or just run it into the garden.
