The prostate is a part of the male anatomy that releases blood into your testicles.*

The prostate gland is a walnut-sized gland situated beneath the bladder, surrounding the upper part of the urethra.

It secretes alkaline fluid rich in enzymes and prostaglandins essential for the production of the sperm.

As men age, prostate tissues increase resulting in the enlargement of the prostate gland.

2.

* The prostate does NOT release blood into the testes.

It acts to stop the passage of urine, during ejaculation.

The alkaline fluid counteracts the slightly acid vagina, and ensures better survival of the sperm.

But remember that the sperm are produced in the testes.

It is a disease of the prostate gland, found mostly in elderly men, though it can turn up in some middle aged men, especially African American men who are at a genetically higher risk. The semen producing cells tend to become cancerous and this leads to the disease.

The term "prostate gland" refers to an organ of male reproductive system which produces semen. Semen is a milky fluid needed to transport the sperm trough the penis during orgasm (called ejaculation).

The prostate produces a fluid that mixes with semen to help the sperm move through the semen during ejaculation into a woman's body.

It is the one that collects the byproducts of other organs and empties its contents upon ejaculation. I have lived without one for five years so far. The say everyman will get prostate cancer if you live long enough. The harder the operation the older the body is.
