Cento was founded in Philadelphia in 1963, and served the surrounding Philadelphia, South Jersey and Deleware tri-state area. Now they are much larger and they have very good canned plum tomatoes for sauce. I believe the name was derived from the fact that they started with around one hundred products. Cento translated from Italian to English means 100.
