Normal heart rate for a 6 - 9 month old is 90 to 130 when awake and content. When the child is upset and crying it can go as high as 190 and possibly higher, the concern is if it stays above 210 for several minutes that has the possibility of cardiac arrest. A sleeping baby can go into the 80's and sometimes dip into the 70's, this is normal as long as the baby still maintains normal color and temperature. Remember that every child is different what is normal for one might not be normal for another. Watch for signs ie: Steady breathing, pale to light grayish/blueish color in the face, white or light blue around the lips and cold feet. (You can put slight pressure on the skin at the feet or legs to leave a fingerprint in the skin then remove your hand and see how fast the color comes back, anything within 4 - 5 seconds is ok). Oxygen levels should be in the mid to upper 90's but can drop to the low 90's while resting. Also Apnea and other monitors are not exaclty accurate and have a problem being precise but they can be close, use them as a approximation. Always, always consult your pediatrician with concerns and remember your are your babys advocate, he/she can not talk for themself so you need to be exact and stay and not leave the doctors office until you completely understand what was said. A good hint is to write down questions for your child's doctor before going in so you wont forget something and remember it once you get int he car to leave.

Yes. 110 bpm is well within the normal range for a sleeping 6-month-old, which is between 70 and 120 bpm.

Baby's heartbeat 177 boy or girl?

The normal fetal heart rate is 110-160. A constantly high baby heart rate is typically associated with an elevated temperature in with the Mom. That being said a baby's heart rate can and should go about this range periodically if it is healthy. If you have a temperature you should consult your physician immediately to rule out harm to the baby.

A 7 month old baby's heart rate dropped to 35 what could be the problem?

A seven month old baby whose heart rate drops to 35 beats per minute could have a problem in the conduction system of the heart. If the heart rate came back up by itself it may not be a problem. In a hospital setting if the heart rate of an infant drops below 60 beats per minute and does not come up oxygen is administered and chest compressions are initiated.

Is a 150bpm a normal heart rate?

Genuinely depends on your age and the level of exertion you are having. If you were a baby in the womb then this could be considered a normal resting heart rate. If you are doing strenuous exercise, this could again be a normal heart rate. However, in an adult a normal resting heart rate is usually between 60 - 100 bpm. A healthy resting heart rate is more likely between 60 and 70 bpm. A resting heart rate is when you are doing no activity, such as lying down. If your heart rate is 150bpm when you are at rest this could be a sign that you are pretty unhealthy. A resting heart rate this high should probably be checked out by a doctor as it could lead to health complications in the future.
