The official state anthem of the United Kingdom is 'God save the King' (words altered to Queen when there is a Queen Regnant). Many people in the UK prefer 'Land of Hope and Glory' and 'Rule Britannia' as unofficial anthems. 'Flower of Scotland' is generally agreed to be the informal anthem of Scotland. 'Jeruselem' is used in England as a rousing English tune and 'Land of our fathers' is sung in Wales (often in Welsh).

While Scotland has no official national anthem, several have been proposed, notably the songs "Flower of Scotland", "Auld Lang Syne", and "Scotland the Brave".

It is generally recognised to be "Flower of Scotland" and this is what is sung by Scottish teams at international sports matches.

Officially the national anthem of Scotland is that of the United Kingdom and is entitled, "God Save the Queen".

However, this is not popular with sporting organisations and Scotland uses a sports anthem for football, Rugby and the Commonwealth Games. This is the Corrie's "Flower of Scotland".

In the past "Scotland the Brave" has been used and there are calls for "Scots Wha Hae" to be adopted.

Officially Scotland doesn't have a national anthem. As part of the UK the official anthem is the UK anthem, God Save the Queen.

Unofficially the anthem played at sporting events is Flower of Scotland . In the past Scotland the Brave and Scots Wha' Hae, have been used.

Two other contenders for a future anthem are A Man's A Man For A That, an Highland Cathedral.

Scotland does not have an official national anthem. The unofficial national anthem is "Alba an Aigh" which translates into English from Gaelic to mean "Scottland the Brave".
