Stephen King's Thinner is about a very obese man who gets cursed by a gypsy to keep losing weight. He eats all day, every day -- hundreds of thousands of calories a day -- but he just keeps wasting away to nothing. So he spends the rest of the movie trying to get the gypsy to lift the curse. It's a pretty cool movie. Like all his movies, it's based on one of his novels (or short stories).
