"One Solitary Life" is a poem that reflects on the impact of Jesus Christ's life on humanity despite his humble origins and the brevity of his time on Earth. It emphasizes the enduring influence and legacy of his teachings and actions, making the argument that his life was truly meaningful and profoundly influential.

It is a poetic treatment of the Life of Christ and is credited to poetess ( or poem factory) Helen Steiner Rice- who did many greeting-card poems for Hallmark. There are some theological flaws in the narrative. It seems to suggest a sort of JC-Underdog attitude , and seems to imply Christ's Supernatural powers were inoperative during his youth. the statement is made that he never traveled more than Fifty Miles from his home territory- Now, we know as a fact Paul the apostle went all over basically Greek territory and eventually Rome- these are well over 50 miles from Israel. It is a somewhat down-angle poem that makes too much of His shortcomings and ignores His Supernatural Powers!

How do you write a critical appreciation of William Wordsworth's solitary reaper?

Minimally, a critical appreciation of a poem should include comments on both the form (or, appearance) of the poem and its content (message or meaning). Thus, minimally, one will want to comment on the four stanzas of eight lines apiece, and the rhyming scheme found therein, of 'The Solitary Reaper,' along with discussion and explanation of the woman working and singing in the fields -- and the poetic narrator's interest in her.

Is the poem Ithaca a journey or an end?

it is a poem about the journey through life. you must live it well and not take your inner demons with you (cyclops etc). the end of the journey is Ithaca or heaven. how you get there is up to you. as the poem states, "don't expect Ithaca to make you rich. it gave you the marvelous journey. it has no more to offer you" one of my favorite poems. i got a huge philosophical meaning to life from it.
