In the UK and over there they are called men-midwives.
In Canada they are called "midwifes" regardless of gender.
There is actually an English word (probably archaic) for a male midwife: "accoucheur."

∙ 13y ago'Midwife' is not the name of the job, it is the meaning - the word midwife means 'with woman', so be it a male or a female in the career position, they would still be called a midwife, as they are attending the woman.
