The US Bill of Rights exists due to the decision of the framers of the constitution in 1783 to codify (make law) a specific list of the most important freedoms which must be safeguarded for the United States of America to begin its life as a constitutional democracy. Therefore, the first 10 amendments to the US Constitution became known as the US Bill of Rights.

XXIII(23):Washington D.C. can vote like a state

XXIV(24):Citizens can vote without paying poll

XXV(25):If the president dies or is too sick the vice president will take his place, the speaker of the house takes place of V.P

XXVI(26):Must be 18 to vote

XXVII(27):Any changes in the pay of senator or reps. applies to the next election.(the next representative gets the difference in pay)
