Most often people confuse personality and behavioral assessments and try to use them interchangeably. Personality testing is commonly used inappropriately to assess job placement and candidate fit. There are a number of popular instruments for measuring personality. The most widely known is the Myers-Briggs Type indicator.

Personality based assessments are not recommended for job placement. Behavioral assessments are a much better method. Remember, its fit, and only a quality Occupational behavioral assessment can provide Job Fit.
