Legally there is no specific age. The children must be safe, they must feel safe, and they eldest must be able to handle any emergencies. Most agree that a 12 or 13 year old can take care of a couple of kids for a couple hours during the day.

yes but i would suggest taking red cross baby sitting lessons first it makes parents feel more safe knowing that you know CPR i took the class its actually fun an only cost $40
