Ellis Island is important to many imigrated people, this is where most people went, and still go to, when they first enter America from Europe/Africa/those general areas.
The importance of both islands vary. While ellis island has almost 40% of the u.s. Population, but angel island had several come thoughts its centre.
Millions of people came through there from Europe and this means that the ancestors of people today came through there. Plus it is history and a place to visit and learn about. Go see it.
