On a 20 metre beep test (the standard) running at level 7 you will need to complete 10 runs at 11.5km/h which if including the 6 levels already run will total 1220metres (you run less shuttles at lower levels) So at 7.5 on the beep test you'll have to run 5 runs at 11.5km/h to a total of 1120metres. Level (shuttles/speed) = total metres 1 (7/8.5km/h) = 140 2 (8/9km/h) = 300 3 (8/9.5km/h) = 460 4 (9/10km/h) = 640 5 (9/10.5km/h) = 820 6 (10/11km/h) = 1020 7 (10/11.5km/h) = 1220
Although there are rumors that some athletes (such as soccer player David Beckham) have completed the whole 23 levels of the test, this is probably unlikely. One confirmed score is 19/2 by Håkan Mild a football player for IFK Gothenburg. The fittest players Aussie Rules National Draft get to low 15s.
I am nearly 15, this year in school the results varied from around 5 up to 15, I got 12.4 once and I know someone who got over 15, the teacher says to us that the minimum is 10, but he is a bit harsh so I think 10 is an O.k score :)
It is around about level 14 for someone who doesn't do a lot of excersise. But for someone whom does a lot of excersise it is between 19 and 21.
