The force of lift is what makes airplanes fly. It results from an effect called the Bernoulli Effect when air passes over and airfoil, a surface which is curved on the top and flat on the bottom. The air passing over the upper surface has farther to go and therefore goes faster than that passing over the lower surface. The faster-moving air causes the pressure above the airfoil to reduce, causing the wing to rise.
Compressible fluid force opposes lift. Lift is the upward force due to the fluid flow around an airplane wing. Weight is a downward force caused by gravity which opposes lift.
'Lift' is an upward force on a plane. Upward force on a bird's wings is also called 'Lift'.
effort force
The lift force is the force acting against the aircraft's weight. For straight and level flight, lift acts in the upward vertical direction and the weight of the aircraft acts in the downward vertical direction. For level flight, lift = weight.
Lift is the force that counteracts gravity.

the force is lift
Lift is the force that acts upwards, perpendicular to the chord of the wing. Thrust is the force acting perpendicular to the propeller disc.

It is called Lift. The difference in pressure above and below the wigs as a bird moves through the air produces an upward force that causes the bird to rise.

Lift any object. Grav. force is acting down, you must apply an upward force to lift the object. Work is force applied through a distance, so work is done if you lift it, but not if you hold it still.
Lift is the force caused by the wind under the wings. This force is what keeps the plane flying in the related links box below I posted the wikipedia lift force article for more details.
