Environmental Law is a set of regulations that must be followed. Failure to do so will result in penalties.
Environmental policies are goals, objectives or guidelines set in place by industry or government to govern industries environmental influence. Government policies generally bring about regulations or laws. Industry policies put a value (or requirement) on environmental protection, generally in order to comply with environmental laws.
