Answer . a sculpture is a three dimensional object which creates positive and negative spaces for the viewers eye to entertain. In installation is often a combination of el…ements which comprise a space that often the viewer themselves can move through.
A painting is 2-dimensional, a sculpture 3-dimensional.
A sculpture is the actual piece of art that's been made, and the sculptor is person who made it.
a sculpture is a three-dimmensional object while a model is a representation of a background or image
painting is a 2D figure while sculpture is 3D
Both are three dimensional arts based on physical mediums, however, sculpture is meant to create buildings and housing and sculpture is meant to create things you can't live i…n (like The Thinker. You can't live in him.) . This poses a question. Is the Statue of Liberty a work of Sculpture or a work of Architecture? You can live in it, in theory. Can it be both? Does it matter the size or the purpose?. I propose that 3 Dimensional art is a spectrum. On one side is Michelangelo's David, the greatest sculpture ever made, and the other end is the Colosseum, a masterpiece of architecture. Then there is a fuzzy grey area. The St. Louis Arch is in this area. Anyway, look at it how you want. I think three dimensional art is it's own big happy family. Good Luck..
more realistic and emotional.
a painting is something painted on something (eg. paper, canvas, maybe even on the wall of somewhere!) whereas a sculpture is a 3D object made of something (eg. an ice sculptu…re of a cat)
A collage contains different pictures regardless of what is formed, while a mosaic is composed of a lot of pictures that form a single picture. -chamm
college is a school that you go to collage it something put together like in a painting in art.
In the round sculptures tend to free standing three dimensional forms -think of bronze statues or the lions in trafalgar square. In relief tend to be built up or carved out… from a flat surface - medals and coins are good examples, they can still look three dimensional in that they have raised areas but the head on a coin is very different from the head of a bust. In relief sculpture can also stand up and you can walk around it however the proportions will not be right - in our head example the head could be on one side only with a flat back, or if the sculpture was in relief on both sides it would look like it had been severely squashed either side making an extremely thin face.
School is a place to learn Collage is not a place to learn. It is a mix of things. Like tiles all compiled together to make a picture.
Glad i have an appropriate answer. Actually sculpting is a form of art in which people use certain instruments to make various statues. But art is actually a broad term . … It may be a period or a career and you should know that music, dance, etc.are also forms of art

A statue is a sculpture of a human or animal figure. However, generically a sculpture does not have to be a statue, itcan be an abstract form or simply figurative.
