Electric pool heaters use electricity to capture heat. As the pool pump circulates the water, it is drawn from the pool and through a filter and into the heat pump heater. The heater itself has a fan that pulls in outside air and pushes it over the evaporator coil. At this point liquid refrigerant in the evaporator coil absorbs the heat from the outside air converting it into a gas. The gas is then passed through the compressor where it increases the heat. This very hot gas is then sent through the condenser where the hot gas is transferred to the cool pool water circulating through the heater. The heated water is then returned to the pool.

A gas pool heater on the other hand uses the gas directly to heat the water by fueling the combustion chamber.

The difference is the terminology used in this aspect. original and natural is relevant to each other. The timeline of natural is ancient and original is modern times. but when it comes to levels it has the same meaning.

Can intense electromagnetic fields attract lightning?

Lightning occurs when there is a large difference in charge between the ground and storm-clouds. This acts similar to a huge capacitor. When the potential difference becomes large enough, lightning arcs from the ground to the clouds. So there is already an electric field in the air under a storm-cloud. A magnetic field can produce its own electric field. The addition of these two electric fields may increase the potential difference enough to cause a lightning arc is the superimposed E-field is large enough.

How are electric current and potential difference related?

Potential engergy is the engergy an object has based upon the height from the ground. Electric current also seeks an electrical ground. The symbols and equations are quite similar as I recall in my Physics.
