The carbon footprint of an item depends on many things, counting the carbon dioxide emissions involved in its collection, production, and transport.
Cheese would start with the milk. A cow milked by hand on your own farm, the cheese produced by hand and put on your kitchen table would have no carbon footprint at all.
Compare that with milk collected by machine, transported in road tankers to the cheese factory, where great machines use electricity to produce the cheese. Add the transport for the cheese, half-way round the world in a plane, sometimes, then the truck to the market, and you will get an idea of the carbon dioxide emissions from your pound of cheese.
im not sure but it sure makes a great candle when your in need

No a pound of cheese is not heavier than a pound of bricks. although if you meant literal pound, then they're both the sameIf you meant a British pound (unit of currency, rather than weight), you can probably get more bricks for a pound than cheese.
