Ford F-150

This is a top truck for all American farmers. It's powerful, dependable, and reliable. But what makes it the best-selling pickup truck is that it offers a towing of 3200 lbs. and a payload of 3720 lbs., so you won't have a problem towing heavy loads

The best pickup truck for farm use typically depends on the specific needs of the farm. Some popular options include the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado, and Ram 1500, which offer good towing capacity, durability, and versatility for various farm tasks. It's important to consider factors such as payload capacity, off-road capability, and towing capacity when choosing a pickup truck for farm use.

If you're going to be towing and hauling a lot, you should get the new Ford Super Duty. If you tow over 14,000 pounds you should go with a 6.7L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel V8 with Dual Rear Wheels. That hookup makes 400 horsepower and 800 pound feet of torque with max towing (5th wheel or gooseneck) of 22,600 pounds. That's more than Chevy/GMC or Dodge. And if you get the 3.55 axle you could get up to 20 mpg on average. But for that serious of towing, you'd want a 3.73 which might bring back 20 mpg on average. Hope I helped and tell me what choice you made if possible.
