What is the average weight of a male American bulldog?

I have a 3 year old Brindle American Bulldog that is very hefty and I also have a Female 2 year old chocolate American Bulldog, she is also very large.

My male weighs around 90 pounds and My female weighs 75. They are a large dog.

If you were thinking about getting an American Bulldog I must warn you they drule. I have to put my dogs outside when we have meals or we are coated with gross, slober.

Overall They are amazing dogs and I recomend them, they are truly a family dog if you train thhem the right way.

The average weight of a full grown male (that is to say 2 years and older, can be anywhere from 95-130 lbs. This is highly dependent upon the line of AB (Johnson or Scott) and also the pedigree of the dog it self. My breeder has dogs in the 150# range, but that is not common. The ones mostly seen at the shows can range from 100-120 # on average. That's solid muscle though and that is one big dog.

I have a two and a half year old bitch out of a rottweiler mother and American bulldog father. She is seven stone in weight and about 25/26 inches tall at shoulder. Dogs (males) are usually bigger, but she is big enough for me! This cross usually breeds true, and all the dogs from this hybrid outcross, that I have seen, look similar. However, a lot of work must be put into socialising and training these powerful dogs. She has never shown aggression to my children or my small Yorkshire terrier, but I NEVER LEAVE HER ALONE WITH THEM just in case! These are powerful dogs.
