Answer . 49/hr.
I own a remodeling company in Massachusetts and recently branched out into Handyman Services to build the client base and better service my past remodel customers. The average… rate in my area is $50 - $85 per hour with two hour minimums. I charge $88 for the first hour and $58 for each additional hour with a two hour minimum. One point that has to be made on rates is overhead. Insurances, advertising, gasoline, vehicle maintenance, tools replacement and maintenance are all built in to this. Let's not forget making a fair profit to the business. I hope this will help everyone to understand what a fair rate is and to always request references and make sure you call the references! i would probably offer around 5 to 10 dollars...it also depends on who u are babysitting __________________________ The above answer seems to have been submitted by a chil…d/teen. Babysitting, like any variable time job should require being paid on an hourly basis or on a lump sum basis that accounts for time, travel, etc. I don't have stats, but a babysitter should get paid around $10/hour at a minimum. This would be for basic "stay at my house while my kid sleeps" services. An active sitter that runs errands, entertains, cares for well being of child should expect more as this is a skilled, specialized service. 5 bucks is well below minimum wage, and is simply ridiculous. No ones time is worth that little, especially when they are responsible for a family's child and home. A babysitter should make $5/h and $6/h for every hour after midnight. Although this will very per child that you are watching and how long you have to watch them for. Like when they go to bed could affect your rate of pay. The hourly rate for babysitting varies widely. I came across one woman who wanted to pay $5.00 an hour for someone who would not only watch her kids but entertain them. I've also known babysitters who've taken care of several kids for $12-15 per hour. One resource you could check that offers upscale, background screened babysitters is http://www.elitefamilycare.com Hi, I saw your post and wanted to show you this tool. It's the Care.com babysitter calculator. It basically averages the pay of all the sitters in your area (by zip code) based on the number of kids. http://www.care.com/child-care-babysitter-pay-calculator-p1140.html It may be a good starting point to start negotiations! Good luck! I am pretty sure that the average babysitting rate in Ohio is 8 dollars.
That depends on a number of variables, however the contractors that are able to land a prime position are required to publish their standard rates on a GSA schedule. Rates var…y based on labor category, which takes into consideration: The type of work or services to be offered; years of experience; education. To see for yourself, Google "GSA Schedule 70" and click on the GSA link. Select a company and click on the "Terms and Conditions" text document icon, which will lead you to the rates for that company. Note that the published rate for a particular company is not necessarily the rate they charge since rates can vary based on contract.

I dont know the statistics but i work for an electrical company in sydney with 23 employee's and the average wage of a qualified electrician in this company is aprox $28.50 pe…r hour + phone, vehicle and fuel card. No RDO just 38 hours at normal rate and 2 hours at time and a half, 4 weeks Holiday, 2 weeks sick leave and 9% super on top. Mainly commercial fittouts (no construction type bonuses) but clean work. Supply your own hand tools. It might not be the exact average but it would be close.
