What is the Palestinian perspective on the Arab-Israeli Conflict?

There are over 4 million Palestinians in the Middle East. This does not even count the number of Palestinian Expatriates in Europe, the USA, Canada, and a number of other nations. Just as there are many people in different walks of life there are many opinions. A rough sketch of these include:

1) The Conflict is Wasteful & Disastrous: This general vein is more common among Expatriates than Camp Members (for wont of a better term). The general idea here is that although in an ideal world Palestine should occupy more land, have a better government, so forth and so on, refugees should settle in the West Bank and Gaza for the time being and just stop fighting long enough to reach a diplomatic solution (and compensation) with Israel.

2) We Should Never Give In: This general vein is more common among Camp Members than Expatriates. Either they believe that an acceptance either (or in many cases all three) Israeli legitimacy or 1949 borders or financial compensation, would not legitimate their suffering without their homes, land, and generally horrible lives. They believe that those who caused and profit from their suffering (namely Israelis) should be stopped from profiting and in some cases should be criminally indicted or punished.

3) Arab States Should Be More Generous: This opinion is certainly in the minority, but a small group of Camp Members typically argue that they are already inside the borders of (Arab country name) and until a peaceable solution is worked out, they should be able to live in (Arab country name) and establish their livelihoods outside of the camps.
