Sent is the sequel to Found. It takes place right where Found left off, with Katherine, Jonah, Alex, and Chip flying to the past via elucidator.

However, only Chip and Alex were meant to be sent to the 15th century, and a man known as J.B. threatens to bring Jonah & Katherine back to the present. The children refuse to abandon Chip and Alex, and J.B. makes a deal with them. If they can fix the now damaged time, then they may return home with Alex and Chip.

Soon, however, they learn that Chip and Alex were meant to be murdered by a devious uncle. The kids do not know how they can return home with their friends without changing time much if the boys were meant to be murdered.

In the end, they manage to get their friends back to the present time, and they are seen playing Basketball outside their houses. J.B. walks up to them, and tells Katherine & Jonah that they must go back in time without Alex and Chip in order to save a girl named Andrea Crowell from an unknown fate in time. They must take a dog named Dare with them. This book leads up to book 3, Sabotaged.
