== == A place where you grow crops. (Almost like a farm.)

Fundamentally, a plantation is usually a large farm or estate, especially in a tropical or semitropical country, on which cotton, tobacco, coffee, sugar cane, or trees and the like is cultivated, usually by resident laborers.

A plantation is an intentional planting of a crop, on a larger scale, usually for uses other than cereal production or pasture. The term is currently most often used for plantings of trees and shrubs. The term tends also to be used for plantings maintained on economic bases other than that of subsistence farming.

Plain field full of cotton. Slaves picking the cotton. White owners watching them to do all of the work. then somewhere over by a barn someone might be getting whipped. Its a shame ,but is the truth. All this shows you is that white people are lazy and black people aren't. We work for our achievements they don't. i hope i helped answer your question. :)
