What is the story line of Bleach?

Ichigo (orange haired, teenager) can see ghosts so he spends his spare time protecting and helping them move on to heaven. While Rukia; a soul reaper, is required to physically help them move on by fighting hollows (hollows being upset souls that can't move on to heaven) and protecting innocent humans and ghosts from hollows with her powers. The major difference between Ichigo and Rukia is that Rukia is dead. She is from the spirit world and comes to the human world in order to protect it. Ichigo on the other hand just happens to be gifted with being able to see ghosts. When they meet Ichigo doesn't believe it until his family is on the line and he has to take her powers in order to defeat a hollow that wants to kill his family. He took all of her power because he had some power within him and because rukia's human body was slowly turning her human and draining her powers. Which is learned after the save rukia arc. During which they also introduce Orhime who has the power to reverse time/damage within an area to heal. Or she can deflect and attack. Chad is also introduced with his 'devil' arm and Ishida who is a Quincy. Quincys were killed off because their powers are similar to soul reapers but instead of sending the hollows to heaven/hell they just kill them. Not allowing the hollows a second chance. Leaving Ishida the last Quincy. The group goes into the soul world to save rukia from being executed for giving ichigo her powers. During which Ichigo gains true soul reaper powers and becomes one of the most powerful characters in the series. At the last minute, he saves Rukia and it turns out that Rukia was only being killed as a part of Aizen's evil plan.

As a result the soul reapers know about Aizen being evil and it launches the next few seasons. One which Ichigo, Orihime, Chad, Ishida and their soul reaper friends spend training for the battle against Aizen. A season where Orhime gets kidnapped and they have to go to the hollow world in order to save her and defeat Aizen. During these seasons the readers also learn that ichigo's father was soul reaper and that theres a group of former soul reapers leaving in their town giving it a lot of soul power. Aizen is finally defeated by a combination of powerful soul reapers in the human world, the former soul reapers that were hiding their powers and Ichigo's crew that was in the hollow world. Ichigo also loses his powers in order to finally defeat Aizen.

The current arc just started with Ichigo learning that he can get his powers back by using a object that's important to him. It really hasn't shown any emenies just that Orihime and Chad get their powers because their parents were killed by hollows when they were young.

Theres a lot more to it because of the ranking systems within the hollow and the soul world which creates a lot of extra characters. Then with each character brings their own power levels and rankings. Even the soul reapers use more then their swords to defeat hollows.

The sixth episode, called "Beat the Invisible Enemy", is about the defeat of the Hollow called Shrieker, who is messing with Yuichi Sabata's spirit, who has possessed a cockatiel. Rukia iKuchiki s battling it and recieves aid from Chad Yasutora, who can touch Hollows, but can't see them. Shrieker reveals his special ability; he can creat leeches that resonate with the sound of Shrieker's tongue. This puts Rukia and Chad at a disadvantage. Luckily, Ichigo Kurosaki, after being begged by his younger sister Karin to save Yuichi, arrives to help them. They then learn the whole story; Shrieker was a very famous murderous psychopath who had come to kill Yuichi and his mother. He succeeded in killing Yuichi's mother, but fell over a balcony to his death after Yuichi pulled his shoelaces. He punished Yuichi by forcing his soul into a cockatiel and striking a deal; if Yuichi can survive for 3 months without being killed, Shrieker wil bring back his mother (something he can't really actually do). Shrieker took enjoyment in killing the people who tried to protect Yuichi. Ichigo defeats Shrieker and sends him to Hell (because while the zankaputo can cleanse the sins of Hollows, sins commited while alive cannot be cleansed). He then sends Yuichi back to the Soul Society.

A boy called Ichigo is able to see ghosts and meats a Shingihimi and Ichigo becomes one. He makes many friends that are cool(well I think they are). He makes many victorys and has now lost his power, has learned full bring and is trying to save his friends from unusual deaths! I love it when people die I bleach but they just kill the cool characters like Gin.😞
