Does Florida allow online adjuster training?
Florida does allow both pre-licensing and continuing education training for insurance claims adjusters. The ACA (Accredited Claims Adjuster) Designation is a distance learning course offered through the University of Central Florida that excuses the applicant from the state licensing test for the All Lines Adjuster license. UCF also offers online continuing education for adjusters. NOTE: Adjusters must take 24 hours of continuing education every two years consisting of 2 hours of Ethics, 10 hours of Law and 12 hours of Optional courses. Public adjusters will be required to take specific public adjuster CE courses beginning in 2009.
