Segregation is the separation between races, colors, classes and more. An example of this is segregation between black and white people in the past. One more example is the social classes of America.
Racial Segregation was the division of people by race into "Separate but Equal" facilities such as restrooms, waiting rooms, drinking fountains; or special sections such as theater balconies, hotels, the back of the bus; that, while separate, were almost never equal.
