A female seamstress in the middle ages lived a tough life. With worsening hygienic conditions ( and therefore plenty of sickness) and working hard without much of a reward (payment), the middle ages was a difficult time period to have lived in. A seamstress would meand clothing for the people of her town, and being a peasant, would come home to cook, clean, and raise the kids. Their diet was based on breads, vegetables, and dairy.

A medieval seamstress is like a tailor, but a women. They are very good sewers and use allot of fabrics and materials such as wool, or Lincoln. They had allot of different colored threads and could sew a finger back on if they needed or wanted to.

A medieval seamstress would not wear anything fancy and it definitely would not be anything like rags. You can say that what they were is in-between those two things (in-between fancy, and rags). In other words it would be casual.

People in the Middle Ages did a lot of the same things we do for entertainment: they sang and danced, they played games with one another, and they had parties with nice food and drink.
