A hero in travian is a single soldier that is superior to others. You create a hero in the hero's mansion. It is usually most effective to make it your strongest soldier type.
The hero has many uses in the game. It is a character that has levels. At every level, it gains 5 points to add to different traits. These traits will improve your hero. Adding points onto attack increases its individual attack power. Adding points onto it's defense increases its individual defensive power. Adding onto Off-Bonus or Def-Bonus increases the offensive and defensive capabilities of all the soldiers it is with. Adding points onto its regeneration allows it to return to full health quickly.
A hero is needed to take over an oasis, it is also required to take artifacts from opposing villages. The hero is also the only soldier that can be sent out of any village.
With all these advantages, you are only allowed one hero per account.
