There are lots of websites to learn foreign languages, as www.bbc.co.uk/languages. What is a good one depends of what you are looking for. The radiofrance network (link) offers a range of podcasts in up-to-date and intelligible French to help you get a grip of the French pronounciation - by listening to the news or a subject that you find interesting. Other websites offer free exercises (link) to improve your vocabulary, grammar, or check your conjugation (link).

Ok this sounds odd, but my french teacher said if you want to learn french, WATCH FRENCH TV, it will help with studying, also study french, but you can learn how to SPEAK well by watching the tv, good luck!

Languages Online is good, that's where I learnt a lot of French, the problem is the titles of the activities are in French, so id you don't know any French, it's hard to find what activity is good. Quia is also a place you can learn a bit of French.
