There was gods for almost everything (water, earth,wind,nature,love,the sky ect.) people believed that they were responsible for everything that happened. So if something bad happened like a thunderstorm, they thought that the god of the sky (Zeus) was mad at them. If something good happened like the sky was clear And warm, they thought the god of the sky was happy with them.
