cheetahs are in the cat family. they are the fastest land animal reaching speeds of 75mph in a couple seconds. they are carnivores eating zebras wildebeest thomphsons gazzelle grants gazelle springbrook gemsbok impala warthog ostrich rabbits. there the most succesful carnivore at hunting, the key to there speed is there flexible spine there strong thigh muscles and thre long legs. they wieght around 80-140 lbs. and can be 6 ft. and also can be 10 ft. in length.they live in Africa Pakistan Russia nepal mogolia india china japan and iran. those they live in that many places there are only 1,200 left in the wild. there used to be 9 speicies of cheetah but now there is just two. they are endangered but still hunted and poached and farmers killing and taking over cheetahs terretory. they aren't big but they are strong they can take down and kill an adult zebra weighing in at 2,00 pounds.
