well. not all of the catterpillars protect themselves...but most of them are already green and can camouflage. other animals and predators don`t see as we humans do, and cannot make the difference between a leaf and a catterpillar, or simply, the caterpillar makes a strange ultrasound that can scare or make the stupid animals flee
hope you understood what i said here...i`m not English :))
When the caterpillar is in danger, it puffs up its tail which then appears like a snakehead to scare their predators away. E.g. Hawkmoth caterpillar.
In the larval stage, inside the pupa this will go on through the newly forming butterfly and will soon already be reborn with her equipment to survive.
they have adapted because there claw like feet are use to hang onto leaves and the also have gone green to camouflage into there surroundings.
they populate
It adapts
it laughs when it eats someone
Ohh babby babby
The definition for adaptive characteristic is when an animal adapts to its habitat for survival. For instance, a Dingoe has fur color that is made to blend in with its surroundings.
No, the bee adapts to many environments and can live practically anywhere
Adaptations are due to mutations in the genetic code. Nothing conciously adapts to the environment.
it eat a cactus then it turned into a cactus camel with green hair and pierced ears
the word habitat means where any living thing grows lives and adapts in its life. it is where a living thing needs to be for it to suvive
a mouse adapts to its habitat by being small so that it can fit into hole's has fur to keep it warmed also has sharp teeth that helps it to nibble at food with.
It doesnt adapt to its habitat its just another lazy animal joking I dont know how it adapts to its enviorment
Because it couldn't survive in conditions other than its own.
