Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are youth organizations geared towards teaching kids to being self sufficient, respectful towards others, and to take care of their environment. They do crafts, go camping, do community service, learn to stand up for others, and to be a good citizen.

Boy Scouts were founded by Robert Baden-Powell in 1908.

Girl Guides were started by Lord Baden-Powell and his sister, Agnes Baden-Powell in 1910. Girl Scouts were founded in America by Juliette Gordon Low in 1912. Girl Scouts and Girl Guides are both a part of WAGGGS, meaning they are from the same organization. They just have different names depending on what country they are in.
