ITV is a tv network in the United Kingdom. It's channels comprise of Itv 1, 2, 3 and 4, Citv (for children) and the ITV news. It used to also contain ITV Play, which was scrapped after a scandal to do with phone-in shows. ITV is also online in the UK (although you still need a tv licence to watch it) on its website itv.com. They also have a catch up service, ITV Player, which is free. Shows are avalable from the last 30 days online in the UK. Unlike the BBC, another network, the channel is paid for through advertising. It runs all it's channels 24hrs a day, except CITV which airs between 6am and 7pm.
