What interesting things happened to the apostle Judas Iscariot?

(warning: this is a little bizarre) this is a little lengthy, but interesting

Judas has an interesting bio and connections with the future Antichrist (the Beast).

Joh 6:70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? -that's a strange accusation

Joh 6:71 He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

Joh 12:6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.-speaking of Judas, who stole from the disciples funds

Mat 26:24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.-a very bad future our saviour predicts for this Judas

Mat 26:25 Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.

Joh 13:2 And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;--notice first the devil puts it into his heart to betray Christ

then....

Joh 13:27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly. --Satan entered him,,possessed him, to whom Christ is now directly addressing, that thou does, do quickly?

Then after the betrayal, he goes and hangs himself

Later after the death, burial, resurrection of Christ the Apostles gather to decide who will replace Judas, as the 12th Apostle:

Act 1:25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go tohis own place. --his own place, thought by commentaters to be a strange designation for him, following his death, what place? Where?

Notice next the words of Christ about this one

Joh 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.-son of perdition or: son of eternal damnation, death or destruction--that's an odd title for him! Who else is referred to as that ominous title, note also:that the scripture might be fulfilled ? Which scripture? and pertaining to what? So the "son of perdition" was lost to allow for the fullfillment of scriptures?

2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.-here this passage is clearly speaking of the revealing of the Antichrist to the world, and mentions what Daniel calls the abomination of desolation, where the AntiChrist goes into the newly completed Jewish Temple, stops the daily sacrifice, and claims there that he himself is God. Daniel has quite alot to say in fact about this Antichrist character, as do Revelation, this one called "the son of perditon". Are these the scriptures being referred to by Christ before when he spoke of the "son of perdition" being lost that the "scriptures might be fullfilled"?

So this antichrist and Judas Iscariot have the same title "son of perdition" or son of destruction/damnation/eternal death, theyre the only two men called this in The Bible. So what does this got to do with Judas? Why the refrenceing one (Judas), who was-he once walked this earth, and is not (he's dead) with one who (shall acend) or is yet to come, the antichrist???

Rev 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Notice this beast was (past tense), is not (present tense), and shall ascend/yet is-(future)-this beast is twofold; he is the antichrist and also speaking of the Empire that he will rule over which also was, is not, and yet is--the Roman Empire. Or rather the revived Roman Empire in its final form as it will be.

They are wondering in awe and following this man/ this beast, who was, is not, and yet is, and this past tense (once walked this earth), is not (not currently among us), and yet is (will again walk this earth) man by this scripture we also read that he shall ascend out of the bottomless pit. This strange man, this beast who was, is not, yet is,,,shall ascend out of the bottomless pit? And what could that be referring to? We shall see in the next passage, who and what this is that ascends out of the bottomless pit and becomes this beast (antichrist) described in the previous passage.

Rev 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

Rev 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

Rev 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

First off, this isn't the Devil or Satan, he's already out there running free, having his way in the world as the "god of this world", though later interestingly, he will be cast into this same holding pit and imprisoned there for 1000 years (see Rev.20:3). This person is someone else, and is one currently imprisoned in this bottomless pit, but in the time of the tribulation will be released. "that the scriptures might be fullfilled"

So this person/beast shall ascend out of the bottomless pit he is apparently imprisoned in at the present time. He will be released by one with a key to the bottomless pit, (to unlock or open is the obvious inference) and this beast (now let loose) that ascends out of this bottomless pit is an angel, fallen obviously, with the name Apollyon, which is the same greek word for Perdition, as in the son of perdition. You could say this is HIS OWN PLACE, until he is released, his personal holding cell, also to be the future holding cell for the Devil, during the 1000 year reign of Christ.

So of this Judas Iscariot, who Christ said IS A DEVIL,and Peter said after he died, went to his own place, whom Christ called "son of perdition" that was lost so that "the scriptures might be fullfilled" (like the scriptures weve been looking at to come?), speaking of this Judas: Did he go to this place, this bottomless pit, his holding cell until the time of the end, when he will ascend out of the pit, and become the person AntiChrist? Where currently he was, is not, but shall ascend out of the bottomless pit? What exactly does that even mean?

Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

Is this bizarre enough yet? Yes it is, but its there. What exactly is that saying,,im not sure, but in answering the question, these are certainly some interesting things that happened (past tense) to Judas Iscariot, and are? and will be? We'll see.

A:Matthew's Gospel tells us at 27:3-5 that Judas repented of what he had done and took the thirty pieces of silver back to the Temple and cast them down at the priests, then went away and committed suicide.

In Acts of the Apostles, at verse 1:19, Judas was no doubt pleased to be suddenly rich, and purchased a field with the money he had received. Unfortunately for him, he fell down and died, his bowels gushing out.

Matthew 3:10. Judas repented of his betrayal and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the priests, then went and hanged himself. With the money, the priests bought land for use as a graveyard, and for that reason it is called the field of blood.

Acts 1:18-19. Judas did not repent, instead using the money to buy land, but fell down and accidentally killed himself. For that reason his land is called the field of blood.
