To make a Dubstep bassline you need music software that allows you to make complex LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) modulations, because LFOs are an important part of Dubstep Baselines. Most music software, however, doesn't let you create complex LFO waveforms. Evolvor, sound design application created by Percussa, can be used together with Ableton Live to draw your own LFO waveforms, and use this to control the parameters in your midi mapping. ∙ 11y agoIn a normal drum setup (rock, metal, etc.), which most drummers have, there is a snare, bass, tom(s), and a floor tom. Some people choose to have a cowbell, but that's really a "drum". For a "marching" setup, there are bass drums, snares, and quads.
