If one has diabetes, then the doctor might say to use insulin.

If the body has too much insulin, then the cells store energy in the cells as fat. When a person is overweight, that is one of the main symptoms of diabetes.

If the body and cells use insulin well to control blood sugar level, then the person is not diabetic.
