WikiAnswers changes every day. Although FAQ Farm was always improving upon itself, the pace of change has increased since it became part of Answers.com and changed its name. We have a growing staff. When this site was FAQ Farm, Chris Whitten was the only person who worked on it full-time. We now have a full-time programmer, Oleg, a community coordinator, Crystal, a product developer, and many more. We have a growing team of volunteer Supervisors. There used to be just a few dozen. Now there are more than 50. Traffic to the site has increased dramatically.

At the beginning of 2007 we officially changed our name from FAQ Farm to WikiAnswers. We did this for a variety of reasons: * FAQ Farm has great meaning but it is subtle. Most people don't understand it right away. * FAQ Farm can easily be confused with similar sounding or similar looking names such as Fact Farm, Fat Farm, or worse (try replacing the "q" with a "g"). * We have been a wiki since 2004. Many people didn't understand wikis three years ago but more and more people are coming to understand the term. * In November 2006 we became part of Answers.com. WikiAnswers connects with the Answers name better.
