It is the defining moment of Boot Camp termed "The Crucible Event" which is a non stop 54 hour final exam of the lessons learned at boot camp. It involves a 40 mile trek through the woods and numerous test events that challenge their ideals and their commitment with little or no sleep, rest or food. Only successful completion gives them acceptance as US Marines.
Army = Basic Combat Training, Marine Corps = Boot Camp
Your last week, you'll take your final APFT, you'll receive your orders for AIT (unless you're in One Station Unit Training), and you'll basically do your final series of tests. You'll do maintenance on your weapon and equipment for turn in, and you'll spend a fair amount of time preparing yourself for your graduation ceremony.
They can recycle you almost any length of time. Typically it's a week or two.
Boot Camp - it the organization happens to be an Army.
Usually boot camp for the army lasts for a few weeks. After boot camp you get time off before you actually start your service.

From personal experience I found that Army boot camp was quite physically challenging. It was just as tough mentally however.

A boot camp is a factory where they make boots. It used to be that they made the boots out in the woods so they called it boot CAMP, but they never ended up changing the name. Hope this helps!
Boot Camp for Army is 10 Weeks 1st week is reception, where you will get issued any items that you will need, and get all medical completed 9 weeks is the actual training
The closest Boot Camp in my area is in Fort Benning, Georgia. It is a 9 week program for Army Basic Combat Training.
It is highly unlikely that the U.S. Army will take someone who quit while in boot camp. Currently, with only a very few exceptions, the U.S. Army is not accepting reenlistments from soldiers who have left service after fulfilling their enlistment obligation. So, it is highly unlikely the army would accept someone who quit during boot camp, unless they were discharged for humanitarian reasons.

yes... the kiss army! but seriously hes never been in the army but his daughter had to do a report for the army so he took her to a camp and they did boot camp but he faild horribly
