People who do not believe in God are just as upright, ethical and caring as religious people, but they do not need a Saviour to justify their altruism. Some may believe that those who do not believe in God will go to hell, because their God is a jealous God who can not accept being denied. Those who do not believe in God say there is no afterlife, and therefore no heaven or hell.A:Nothing "happens." We are as free to NOT believe as others are to have their beliefs. The same thing "happens" (or doesn't) to believers and non-believers. No one has ever proven differently.
