Probably nothing,if it were a minor offense, like a parking ticket. You'll get a notice in the mail wanting you to pay up, regardless of the offense. Of course if you get pulled over in that state again and they run (which they usually do) your license info. You could go to jail until you have a hearing and pay the fine,or get bonded out. States have different laws, some states or municipalities are very strict and aggressive in collecting fines, others not so much.

AnswerCheck and see if your state has reciprocity with the offending state Most states have reciprosity agreements which allow them to exchange data with one another. Say you got a ticket for 82 miles per hour in a 55 MPH zone in New York and you didn't show for trial or pay the fine. When you go to renew your license in, lets say, New Jersey, you will have to pay a fine or penalty to get your NJ license.

There COULD be a warrant issued for your arrest (any states) in that state (NY).

AnswerYour license will be suspended in that state and will be unlawful to drive in any state.

Assuming that you're at a point where you've already been found guilty, you'll receive a notification of a deadline to pay the ticket. If you don't pay that ticket by the indicated deadline, your licence will be suspended indefinitely until that ticket is paid. In addition, you'll be required to pay a reinstatement fee.

If the ticket is from a state other than your home state, whether your licence is wholly suspended or not depends on any agreement they may have with your home state. Even if they're unable to accomplish this, they will still be able to suspend your driving privilege in their state.

If you don't pay a traffic ticket a warrant will be issued for your arrest. I found this out the hard way when I lost one of my tickets. It takes a while and they won't show up at your door but if you get pulled over with an outstanding ticket you will be taken in and your car impounded.

In New South Wales Australia If you don't pay you fines you suddenly end up with a suspended drivers licence and any cars that are registered in your name are unregistered. So when you get puled over by the police on top of the fies you already owe you are also up for unlicensed and unregistered and uninsured driving. which is around AU$1,400 on top of what you owe. and it can all start with a parking ticket. As soon as you pay the fine everything falls into place again.

Well, for me, I had a large traffic ticket due and I was required to clean approximately three public bathrooms, attend driving school, recite the Pledge of Ohio backwards in front of the Court, had my license suspended, volunteer at my local iHop, , help sell Girl Scout cookies, and finally (this is the most severe) partake in the Blazin' Challenge at my nearest Wing Restaurant while writing down facts about the bird reproductive system.

And then I got arrested.

I hope this helps.

Don't speed.

Ever.

I'm serious.

The general rule is: if you do not pay or resolve a traffic ticket in any state of the United States, that state will transmit information to the state in which you reside and hold a drivers license, causing your drivers license to be suspended until that ticket is resolved.

You could possibly have a bench warrant out on you. That means if a police officer ever comes across you, you will be arrested. Call the court and ask for an extension or pay it asap.

What happens of a policeman doesn't sign the traffic ticket?

Go to court anyways and have the judge sign off on it just in case and you wont get in trouble if the officer didnt sign it, cuz it would be the officers fault.

Will a ticket hold in court if they didnt get your name right?

Didnt refuse to sign traffic tickets I was in the ofcr's custody did more paper work taken to jail but didn't get to sign tixx am I still liable?

Yes you are still liable. It is not absolutely required that you sign the ticket. All that means is that you agree to appear for court. In many states they never get you to sing while in others they will take you to jail if you do not. Since you were booked the issue is moot anyway.

Got a speeding ticket didnt pay it how long will it take to fall off your record?

Never. Unless you turned 18, but if you got it after that it won't and if they catch you your going to jail. also in some states they will come to your house and arrest you. How ever you can go to the local court house and pay it off and you should be fine.
