However the Kamino people started to build an army of clone troopers even more powerful than the regular clone troopers to battle the Empire. When Darth Vader learned of these plans he sent the 501st legion commanded by Bobba Fett to destroy this rebel ion. The 501st successfully carried out their mission and Kamino decided to join the Empire in the new republic in hopes that they could continue to live as a planet.
