There are many themes in the Trumpet Of the Swans with the most important being "Never give up on your dreams". In this novel louis the Swan fought through many hardships to achieve the outcomes he hoped and wished for!"

Another theme is that you must work hard for everything you earn. In this society we sometimes feel we should be given everything without hard work or earning the prize. This young swan was obviously a hard working conservative voting for Mitt Romney who believes that the government should not give entitlements to those who do not deserve them and that we must work hard for what we earn.

Excellent novel

In "The Trumpet of the Swan" by E.B. White, the trumpet symbolizes the swan Louis' voice and his desire for self-expression despite his mute condition. The book explores themes of overcoming limitations, communication, and finding one's voice. The trumpet serves as a symbol of determination, creativity, and the power of music and language.

Like the rest of his family, Louis is trumpeter swan. But unlike his Four brothers and sisters, Louis can't trumpet joyfully. In fact, he can't even make a sound! And since he can't trumpet his love, the beautiful swan Serena pays absolutely no attention to him. Louis tries everything he can think of to win Serena's affection-even goes to school to learn how to read and write. Nothing seems to work though. Then his father steals him a real brass trumpet. Could an instrument be the key to wining Serena's love?

Well, the answer is ....yes. It took Louis a few times only cause he lost Serena's attention. They end up having cygnets (that is what baby swans are called). So the Serena and Louis end up living very well together

It is fantasy.

Reasons: Animals cannot talk.

Swans cannot read or write or play the trumpet.

There are a lot more reasons but that's just some of them.
