Mercury has no atmosphere worth mentioning. It's too small to retain an atmosphere, especially that close to the Sun. To the extent that there is ANY atmosphere, it is composed primarily of hydrogen thrown off by the Sun, tenuously held until the Sun blows it away again.

Mercury is not massive enough to sustain an atmosphere. It does have trace amounts of argon, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, water vapor, xenon, krypton and neon though. Gasses such as oxygen are abundant, but are in molecular form, i.e. locked up in a solid such as Iron Oxide.
