The names may be sound uncommon since they are in Tetum (The Timorese Language). But I'll try to give you the descriptive translation here;

Here are the major cuisines from East Timor;

Well first bellow are the original Timorese Cuisines :

# Ikan-Saboko (Small Fishes that are cooked inside the palm tree with turmeric, pepper and chilli),

#Tukir (where they cook meat usually goat meat inside bamboo)

#Batar-daan (a popular dish of corn, mung beans, and pumpkin but it depends on individuals/family's savor because sometimes they add meat/pork and coconut water)

#sedok (a popular dish of rice cooked with vegetable usually cassava leaf)

#Marotok (a Timorese stew)

#Midar Siin (sweet sour)

#Budu (a mixture/sauce of tomato or timorese seaweed and chilli + onion + garlic and all)

#Balisaun Manatutu (a mixture/sauce of a chili and a shrimp with lemon)

and other traditional staples such as cassava, taro, sweet potatoes, banana, breadfruit and all)

While Katupa, Beef, Bean, roasted chicken/fish and all that are mostly inherited/influenced from Indonesians and Portugueses

Thank you

I hope this gives you enough information about my country's original/traditional or whatever you want to call.
