In the manga and second anime (Brotherhood), Wrath is the true identity of Fuhrer King Bradley, who in the first anime was the homunoculus Pride (who in the manga is the true identity of Selim Bradley, the Fuhrer's son).

If you are talking about the first anime, where Wrath is Izumi Curtis's failed attempt to revive her child, he dies in the fullmetal alchemist movie because Wrath volunteered to get transmuted by Alphonse for some reason that I don't remember during a fight with Gluttony.
