Venom is the general term given to toxins that are injected into a victim by the means of bites, stings, scratches etc. normally straight into the lymphatic system where it acts quicker. Poison may be ingested, or inhaled. The potency or strength of the toxins can vary greatly from a mild pain felt from a bite to paralysis to death.

∙ 9y agoThere are many types of venom and each works in a different way. However, a large number are paralytics, which means that the either prevent the brain from properly communicating to the muscles or they cause the muscles to tense up beyond the control of the nervous system.
