Page Layout just means how the information, whether text or pictures or whater, looks on your piece of paper. For instance, you can have a page layout with 1" margins or a page layout with 2" margins. It is just how the page looks with the information on the page.

The layout tab is found on the home page at the top of MS. Word.
The default page layout is set at web layout. You can switch to the desired layout on the bottom right of your word processor

In Mircrosoft Word go to the tool bar at the top. Click on Page Layout, then on orientation - then it has the option to click on Portrait or Landscape In Mircrosoft Word go to the tool bar at the top. Click on Page Layout, then on orientation - then it has the option to click on Portrait or Landscape. You should be able to choose whichever option you wish on each page as you go along.
It is in Orientation on the Page Layout tab.

Go to the Page Layout tab on the ribbon. If you then click on the arrow in the bottom right corner of the Page Setup group, it will open the Page Setup dialog box.
