You answer a health and safety question the same way you would any other question. If you know the answer you give it truthfully and as clearly and directly as possible. If you don't know the answer, you ask someone or you look it up. You have to be honest with it as there are some questions that will require a certification. Say, if you were asked if you have the right health and safety training, you maybe asked to provide a certification too.

You could start by contacting your local Citizens Advice, or ask your employer. Most companies will provide health and safety training for staff who request it

I'm not sure what it means by "older americans", but I can say if it means for disabled americans or the elderly, the ADA (American disability act) protects the disabled.
